What we do

We are a Germany-based B2B buyer of used IT hardware and IT scrap, operated by Alpha IT Remarketing GmbH from Braunschweig (Lower Saxony). Refurbishable components are reintroduced to the market; scrap material is processed for precious-metal recovery and recycled in line with German WEEE regulations.

What we purchase

• Server RAM — DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5 ECC RDIMM / LRDIMM modules (priced per piece).
• CPUs — Intel Xeon, Intel Core i3/i5/i7, AMD EPYC and others (priced per piece or by weight for ceramic / plastic scrap classes).
• SSDs — enterprise SATA, SAS and NVMe drives.
• Complete PCs and notebooks from business refresh projects.
• Mainboards and add-in cards — server boards, RAID controllers, HBAs, NICs.
• IT scrap by weight — RAM with gold or silver contacts, CPU scrap (ceramic / gold-cap / plastic), circuit boards in various grades.

How it works

1. Send us a list (Excel, CSV, PDF) of what you intend to sell, or pick items from our online catalogue.
2. We confirm an indicative valuation, typically within one business day.
3. You ship the material (or we arrange pickup for larger volumes). Goods arrive at our Braunschweig location.
4. Inspection, weighing, optional certified data wipe (Blancco) and final settlement by bank transfer.

Data security

For media containing personal data we offer certified erasure with Blancco. You receive a tamper-proof erasure certificate per serial number, compliant with GDPR Article 17 (right to be forgotten). This is a separate paid service. We do not perform physical destruction in-house — for that we recommend a DIN 66399 certified provider.

VAT / Reverse Charge

For B2B purchases of scrap material we operate under the German reverse-charge mechanism (§ 13b UStG): the seller invoices net with a corresponding note, the buyer accounts for VAT. A valid EU VAT-ID is required on both sides.

Who we work with

IT systems integrators, hosting providers and data centres, IT-recycling companies, and corporate end-users carrying out hardware refreshes. We only buy from businesses (no private individuals).
